For 10 years from starting as a runner I worked my way up to a Floor Manager, Assitant Floor Manager and a 3rd Ad in Live TV and Dramas (basically telling people where to be and what to do via the director)
I had always wanted to do Hair and Makeup. It wasn’t until I worked on Casualty as a 3rd Ad that I decided to go and train. I was always in the makeup room asking loads of questions.

Every day is different and I taught Makeup for a year at The Brit School which was a great experience.
5. What do you think makes women feel confident anything and what makes you feel confident?
I think being confident in what you do and the people you work with and standing your ground. I spent a lot of money and time to train for what I do and you do know what your are talking about, but am ALWAYS learning.
6. What’s the favourite piece in your wardrobe and why?
I love my red dress and heels !! I love getting glammed up. It makes me feels confident.
7. Any other comments?
It’s never too late to do something YOU want to do in life. You will be surprised at what you can do. Don’t ever turn any opportunities down, as you never know what doors they can open and remember the TV, drama industry is small so don’t pee anyone off ??
